This was an intensive project that I undertook after painting the interior of the same home. The first step was to power wash in order to do a detailed inspection of the structure to find any areas that needed to be repaired or replaced. Everything was pointed out to the homeowners so they knew exactly what to expect. Anything they approved was upgraded from wood to PVC. Full preparation was then done to scrape off any chipping paint or trouble areas. A coat of Mad Dog primer was administered along with spot prime of Benjamin Moore Aura, then the finish coat of the Aura. The body was done in low lustre and semi gloss for the woodwork trim.

The mahogany deck needed to be restored by chemical stripping the old finish, followed by the use of industrial sanders to even the surface. A coat of One Time Wood in Red Cedar was subsequently applied. The ceiling of the porches and balcony were painted with two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal in black Satin. The front door was prepped, primed, and finished with two coats of Fine Paints of Europe Hollandlac Satin.
