This project began with a bare wood surface. The first step was to fill all nail holes, followed by California’s oil primer. Pratt and Lambert high gloss Aquanamel was used on all the trim. The top portion of paneling was in California Satin’s Nextech water-oil hybrid. The lower section of paneling was painted in California Ultra with matte finish. There were two support beams coated with the Old Masters water-based satin polyurethane finish.
The hallway was painted using California Ultra in Eggshell on the walls, Semi-Gloss on the trim, and white on the ceiling. The door was painted in FPE Hollandlac Satin finish.
